In an exciting development on the Cross River music scene, renowned Afro-hiphop acts Mista Xto and Upper X have teamed up to release the much-anticipated single “Mma Mmem”, accompanied by a gritty, street-style visualizer crafted by YoungBone.

The video, which premiered online to a flurry of excitement, captures raw urban energy with scenes shot in a vibrant local community setting. Featuring motorbikes, expressive dance, and authentic street fashion, the visuals reflect a strong sense of identity and cultural pride.

According to a social media post by Upper X Ekpenyong, one of the featured artists, “We made a blockbuster .”

The track showcases a seamless blend of Afrobeat rhythms, indigenous lyrics, and lyrical bravado, with both artists delivering verses in a mix of English and local dialects.
