The Cross River State Ministry of Education has scheduled pre-resumption meetings for all principals and head teachers of public secondary and primary schools ahead of the 2024/2025 academic session. The meetings will be held across three zones—Southern, Central, and Northern—from September 3 to 6, 2024.
According to a directive issued by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Ikade Emmanuel on behalf of the Commissioner for Education, Senator Stephen Odey, the meetings are mandatory and aim to ensure adequate preparation for the upcoming academic year.
The southern zone is on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at WAPI, Calabar municipal, at 10 a.m. Central zone on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Government School, Ikom, at 10 a.m. And the northern zone on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Government School, Igoli, Ogoja, at 10 a.m.
