In a bid to support students thrive in business, Kelvin Enyam, the Special Assistant on Student Affairs to the Cross River State Governor, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu has put machinery in place to facilitate 360 students to benefit from the SMEDAN grant.

The empowerment is routed through the office of the Special Assistant to the President on Students Engagement, Asefon Adedayo.

Enyam, a former Students Union Government (SUG) president in the University of Calabar (UNICAL) in a statement made available to journalists said 20 students from each Local Government Area will benefit from the grant.

This, according to him, is geared at ensuring that everyone is carried along and that no LGA is left behind in the 360 slot.

While affirming that “this is in tandem with my pledge to ensure that all students are duly represented, and enjoy the dividends that are due  them as Nigerian students, students should take advantage of this opportunity.”

Students are to contact the Office of the Special Assistant via 08107138131 or through the NACRISS WW President on 08137718014 and ensure the submission of their business details before 12 noon of 23rd April, 2024.
