The Nigeria Police Force, Cross River State Command has announced that it will commence range practice at the police shooting range, Anyangangase in Akpabuyo local government area from Wednesday, 24th to Friday, 26th, January, 2024.
The practice will be conducted by a team of police officers who will be supervised by a local government officer.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Irene Ugbo, announced a press release issued on Monday, January 22, 2024, and made it available to our newsroom.
The general public is advised not to engage in any farming activities within the vicinity of the shooting range during the exercise.
SP Ugbo urged the public to cooperate with the police and to avoid any activity that could put them in harm’s way.
She also assured the public that the exercise would be conducted safely and professionally.
The shooting range is located in a remote area and there is no danger to the public if they stay away from the area during the exercise.
The exercise is expected to last for three days and will start at 8am each day.
