148 Studios, one of Cross River State’s fastest-growing creative production hubs, has sealed a landmark production deal with Nigeria’s ace music producer, songwriter, and artist, Felix Sabinaq.

The Odukpani-born but Lagos-based hitmaker, renowned for his work with superstars such as D’banj and Timaya, will now lead the studio’s music production team as part of an ambitious expansion strategy.

Speaking to journalists shortly after signing the agreement, Sabinaq expressed excitement about the partnership, describing it as a homecoming that aligns with his creative goals.

“I am delighted to have entered into this agreement with 148 Studios,” he said. “Music lovers should expect great and exceptional hits, nothing less.”

Sabinaq, who was formerly known by his stage name Feezikx/WeBeat, revealed that he looks forward to working closely with emerging and established talents across the state and beyond.

On his part, Prince Boniface Udoka, CEO of 148 Studios and artist popularly known as AsobTheVibe, said the signing signals a new era for Cross River’s creative space.

“We’ve decided to take the game to the next level with modern equipment and technology,” Udoka said. “We brought in one of the best producers from Lagos, and God is so kind, he’s a son of the soil. Expect great songs.”

Udoka also explained why the fast-rising creative brand chose to establish its base in Cross River State instead of entertainment hotspots like Lagos, Abuja, or Port Harcourt.

“There are great talents from and in Cross River State,” he noted. “We will expand our business to other states, but Cross River is our base.”

Beyond music production, 148 Studios offers a wide range of creative services, including artist management, song promotion and distribution, public relations, video production, and special consultancy. The facility also boasts a state-of-the-art video studio for podcasts and other visual content.

Udoka encouraged creators, artists, and brands to explore the studio’s offerings, adding that 148 Studios is “a one-stop shop for audio and video production and management. Visit our website for more information www.148studios.ng or visit us at 8 Miles by agrofeed.”
