The cancellation was attributed to “perceived logistics challenges” that could inconvenience participants.

By TheInvestigator

The Cross River State Civil Service Commission has announced the cancellation of the written examination initially scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2025, for prospective Accounting and Budget officers.

In a public notice signed by the Commission’s Chairman, Sir Maurice Effiwatt, the cancellation was attributed to “perceived logistics challenges” that could inconvenience participants.

As a result of this development, the Commission has decided to rely solely on the scores from the oral interviews conducted in the previous year to assess candidates.

The notice expressed regret for any inconvenience this decision may cause to candidates and the general public.
