President Tinubu Appoints Orok Duke As Member Of NDDC Governing Board

Rt. Hon. Orok Duke has been appointed member of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

A letter from Sen. George Akume, Secretary to the Federation dated 27 October, 2023 conveyed the appointment.

It reads in part “I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President, Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved your appointment as a Member of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, following your confirmation by the Senate at its meeting of Wednesday 4th October, 2023 in accordance with the provisions of Section 2 (2)(a) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (Establishment) Act, 2000.

“Your appointment is on part-time basis, in line with the provisions of Section 2(3) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (Establishment) Act, 2000 with effect from Thursday 25th October, 2023 for an initial term of four (4) years.”
