Cross River State Governor, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, has appealed to aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to remain patient, assuring them that his administration will deliver greater things for the people.
Otu made the appeal in Obanliku Local Government Area while speaking during his visit to the community as part of activities marking its new yam festival.
The governor acknowledged that some members of the party were currently disgruntled, urging them to exercise patience as his administration continues to consolidate its achievements.
“I know we do have some aggrieved members of our party who are disgruntled at the moment. I want to appeal to you to have patience. Greater things and greater things are going to happen,” Otu said.
The governor also reflected on the challenges his administration inherited when it assumed office, saying it had since taken steps to restore Cross River’s assets.
“It was difficult for us when we took over, but we have restored all Cross River assets,” he said, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to the development of the state.
