A young man identified as Gabriel Augustine Idem, who said he is from Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State, is currently receiving medical treatment after collapsing along Ikot Ekpene Road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
According to available information, the incident occurred on Thursday when passersby found Gabriel unconscious and rushed him to Dr Dan-Abia’s Hospital in Idoro for urgent medical attention. Medical personnel confirmed that he is responding positively to treatment.
However, Gabriel had no mobile phone, identification documents, or any other useful information on him that could help contact his relatives. While speaking, he reportedly mentioned that his sister is identified as Rita Asuquo Idem, who he said lives in the Marian area near Atekong in Uyo.
Members of the public, particularly residents of Akpabuyo Local Government Area in Cross River State and those who may know Gabriel Augustine Idem or his sister, Rita Asuquo Idem, are urged to assist in locating his family.
