As part of efforts to equip aspiring media professionals with practical communication and presentation skills, D’Tacom Academy, in collaboration with Braideye Productions, has announced a special training presentation on broadcasting, journalism, and multimedia in Calabar.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Braideye Productions, No. 3 Ediba Road, Calabar.

According to the organisers, the presentation is designed to provide participants with essential skills required in modern broadcasting and journalism, with a focus on practical application and professional development.

The training will be facilitated by Idem Ita, Lead Facilitator at D’Tacom Academy, who is expected to guide participants through key areas including voice presentation, camera confidence, interview techniques, news reporting, multimedia storytelling, and radio and television presentation.

Organisers said the programme is aimed at students, young journalists, broadcasters, content creators, and individuals interested in building careers in the media and communication industry.

A highlight of the event will be a live talk show simulation, giving participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media presentation and audience engagement.

The organisers also disclosed that participation is free of charge, although attendance will be limited due to available seating capacity.

They noted that the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen media professionalism and create opportunities for aspiring communicators to acquire industry-relevant skills.
