Cross River State Political Network Mobilizes For Gov Otu’s Endorsement Come May 24

The Cross River State Political Network, CRISPON, the largest sociopolitical organization in the State on Thursday, at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar began the process to endorse the state governor, Sen Bassey Edet Otu for a second term. The meeting was attended by the group Central Planning Committee, CPC, Southern Senatorial District comprising over 2000 representatives.

Dr Michael Nku Abuo, JP the Director General of CRISPON and Chairman of the CPC it’s an epoch making day while addressing his team on the purpose of the gathering.

According to him “This month marks a significant month in the history of our state as it marks the 2nd Year Anniversary of Sweet Prince, His Excellency, Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State. The state is witnessing transformational leadership as several infrastructural projects have been initiated, some completed and several intervention programmes launched to positively impact the lives of the common man.”

He continued by calling on Cross Riverians and members of CRISPON to continually support “His Excellency’s People First Government” and promised “to mobilize at least 15,000 of Cross Riverians across the South to attend the reception and endorsement in honor of His Excellency at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar on Saturday 24th May 2025 at 10am as he marks his second year in office.”

To conclude the events members were broken into committees to put finishing touches to the endorsement event to be held on Saturday 17th May 2025, 11am at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar.

Princess Okuanwan Effiom the Deputy Director General South appreciated everyone for coming and assured them of always protecting their interest.
