University Of Calabar Faculty Of Arts Students’ Association Holds Successful Executive Council Elections

Speaking to newsmen after the inauguration, the Secretary-General stated that their election reflects the popular choice.

The Faculty of Arts Students’ Association (FASA), University of Calabar (UNICAL) chapter has conducted elections for its executive council. The delegate election was held at the FASA secretariat on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, and witnessed by the Sub-Dean, Professor Ene Okon, faculty lecturers and students.

Hon Agada Friday emerged as President, Anu-Thomas Blessing as Vice President, Alisa Johnson as Secretary-General, Nwosu Jennifer as Deputy Secretary-General, and Asuquo David as Director of Information.

Others are Ekpenyong Josephine as Financial Secretary, Destiny Francis as Director of Welfare, Osadjere Abel as Director of Socials, and Benard Ushie as Director of Sports.

Speaking to newsmen after the inauguration, the Secretary-General stated that their election reflects the popular choice. But personally, her purpose of vying for the prestigious office was borne out of her passion to serve the student community.
