An unidentified elderly man has been rushed to the County Specialist Hospital, Ikom, Cross River State after collapsing at the Federal Government College (FGC) area on Wednesday.
According to eyewitness reports, the man was travelling from Ogoja to Obubra when the vehicle he was in developed a fault near FGC Ikom.
As the driver and passengers waited for repairs, the man suddenly collapsed. Concerned bystanders quickly moved him to the hospital for medical attention.
The driver of the vehicle, who confirmed picking him up from Ogoja, said he had no contact information for the man’s relatives.
