Cross River State Assembly Confirms Leadership Of CROSIEC And IRS

The confirmations took place during a plenary session on Tuesday.

The Cross River State House of Assembly has officially confirmed the appointments of the Chairman and members of the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) and the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service (CRIRS). 

This confirmation came after a request was submitted to the House by the Secretary of the State Government, Professor Anthony Owan Enoh. The confirmations took place during a plenary session on Tuesday.

Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, advised the newly confirmed members to uphold the principles of equity and fairness in their respective duties. He emphasized the importance of being firm and impartial, stressing that they must avoid partisanship to maintain public trust.

The newly confirmed members of the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission are as follows:

– Mr. Ekong Edet Bocco – Chairman

– Dr. Lawrence Edu Esq – Secretary

– Mr. Jerry Akabisong – Member

– Mrs. Rose Banku – Member

– Mr. Adoga Joseph Ipuole – Member

– Eutendala Eno – Member

– Barr Daniel Edet – Member

– Dr. Eyo Otu Eyo – Member

The confirmed members of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service are:

– Prince Edwin Okon – Chairman

– Elder Ndoma Odey – Member

– Barr Nta Ekpikem – Member

– Mr. Francis Peters – Member
