Former Nigeria Senate President Joseph Wayas Remains Return From London, Deposited At National Hospital Abuja

Recall that the former number 3 citizen in the Second Republic was abandoned in a London hospital for years without clear reasons for the inability to retrieve his corpse.

The remains of Former Nigeria Senate President, Late Joseph Wayas arrived at the Cargo wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja from Heathrow Airport London, United Kingdom onboard British Airways BA O83 at 4:40 am this morning. 

At the airport to receive the corpse include, Senator Eteng Williams, Senator Representing Cross River Central Senatorial District, Hon Peter Akpanke, Member of House of Representatives representing Obanliku Bekwarra Obudu Federal Constituency, Dr Dorncklaimz Enamhe, convener of Who Is Who Forum of Northern Cross River amongst others.

Recall that the former number 3 citizen in the Second Republic was abandoned in a London hospital for years without clear reasons for the inability to retrieve his corpse. 

The family and previous regimes traded blame for their inability to get the remains for burial.
