Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw shared the heartbreaking news of her mother’s passing on social media today.
In a Facebook post, Henshaw wrote, “Dear friends and fans, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear mother on March 1st 2024.”
She continued, “Your prayers mean the world to me during this difficult time. Please keep my family in your thoughts.”
The cause of death for Henshaw’s mother has not been publicly disclosed. Tributes and messages of condolences have poured in for the actress and her family on social media since her post.
Henshaw, known for her roles in films like “When the Sun Sets” and “New Money,” is a prominent figure in the Nigerian film industry.
This tragic news comes on the same day as the reported passing of fellow Nollywood actor John Okafor, known by the stage name Mr. Ibu.
