Cross River State’s Maiden Marathon To Proceed Despite Sanitation Exercise

Participants and organizers of the marathon will be given special clearance to move around during sanitation hours, which are between 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

The Cross River State government has announced that the scheduled maiden marathon event will still take place as planned this Saturday, March 30, 2024. The marathon is part of the government’s efforts to rejuvenate the state capital.

The marathon will be held from 7:00 am on Saturday, March 30th, 2024, starting at the Millennium Park in Calabar. 

Participants and organizers of the marathon will be given special clearance to move around during sanitation hours, which are between 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

The 14 km marathon will start at the Millennium Park and make its way through the entire Carnival route before finishing at the Marina resort.
