Gov. Bassey Otu Pledge To Complete Obudu Cargo Airport Before End Of 2023

The Bassey Otu led administration in Cross River has again stated its resolve to complete the Obudu Cargo Airport before the end of the year.

Governor Otu gave the assurance, Thursday, during the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders meeting which held in Calabar.

He plans to increase the Cally Air fleet and turn the Bebi Airstrip in Obanliku into an aviation school.

He said barely few months as Governor, he has been able to put things in proper perspective and that Cross Riverians would begin to reap the fruits of the ‘people first agenda’ soon.

According to the governor, “God has bestowed upon us the responsibility of taking our state forward. Cross River has suffered under People’s Democratic Party,PDP. I thank God for using my predecessor, Senator Ben Ayade, to break the state from the shackles of the PDP.”

He condemned self – centeredness and stated that the Cross River project takes precedence over any individual’s interest stating that his administration was poised to make political appointments unattractive and Economic prosperity imminent.
