A 15-year-old student, Agbo Adoga, has made history by becoming the first Nigerian to score a perfect 1600 in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

Adoga, a student of Graceland International School in Port Harcourt, achieved a rare global feat, joining an elite group of high school students worldwide who have attained the maximum SAT score.

Beyond the record-breaking score, Adoga has distinguished himself with an extraordinary record of 84 major academic achievements across mathematics, coding, and STEM competitions within and outside Nigeria.

His recent accolades include emerging Overall Runner-Up in the Singapore Maths Global Finals (SMGF) 2025 for Grades 11 and 12, a Perfect Scorer in the Singapore and Asian Schools Maths Olympiad (SASMO) 2024, and World Champion in the 4th Grand Final of the International STEM Olympiad (Mathematics – Grade 11) held in Spain in 2025.

He also clinched 1st place worldwide in the Maths Best of the Best Round of the 5th International STEM Olympiad 2025, as well as multiple Gold medals across consecutive editions of the competition from 2023 to 2025.

Domestically, Adoga has earned top honours in several national contests, including the Maths4Life National Mathematics Tournament 2025, where he won ₦3,000,000 as part of the first-place team and an additional ₦100,000 as Most Valuable Player.

He was also the Winner of the 2023 Cowbellpedia TV Quiz Show Junior Category, securing ₦5 million and an educational trip to South Africa.
