In a significant boost to men’s health, the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH) has unveiled a dedicated Urology Clinics block.

The block consisting of a waiting area, consulting rooms, a procedure room and support offices is named in honour of late Professor Edet Okon Nkposong, Nigeria’s first Urologist who lived from 1930 to 2024.

In commissioning the Clinics, the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital Management expects that Urological treatments and research will vastly improve.
