In a bold move to redefine luxury living and promote economic growth in Cross River State, Kingston Luxury Apartments has officially launched, promising a new era of opulent living and tourism appeal. The multi-billion-naira project was born from the vision of Mr Eric Brodnock, who says he was inspired by the state’s potential and the leadership of the current governor.
The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Hospitality, Mr Albert Kusi, who convened the media parley held in E1 estate Lemma, 8 Miles in Calabar Municipality, said the investment is going to change the tourism and entertainment sector in the state.
“This parley is necessitated by an additional value created in the hospitality sector of our state by a foreign investor—Mr. Eric Brodnock—who has interestingly come to blend in as one of us in Cross River State as well as the Nigerian dream,” the Special Adviser stated.
Mr Kusi described the investment as a significant development in the sector, aligning with the Prince Otu-led administration’s vision of a rapidly growing and diversified economy.
The media was urged to support and promote the project, emphasising its role in transforming Cross River’s investment landscape. “We implore you as representatives of the organised media to partner and encourage the smooth takeoff of this huge investment portfolio in the hospitality sector of our state,” the Special Adviser urged.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the initiative, Brodnock said, “Every time I step into Cross River State, I feel a deep sense of belonging. It’s not just the stunning scenery or the warmth of the people, but the quiet realisation that this place is more than just a destination—it’s full of untapped potential.”
With over ₦1 billion invested in the development, Kingston Luxury Apartments is more than a real estate venture; it’s a contribution to the state’s business and hospitality sectors. “I didn’t just want to build an apartment complex,” Brodnock explained. “I wanted to build a sanctuary—a place that would feel like home for those who deserve the best.”
Brodnock emphasised that the project is not only for visitors but also for locals, stating, “Kingston Luxury Apartments isn’t just for those who visit; it’s for the future of this state.”
Calling on the government and people of Cross River to support the vision, Brodnock concluded, “We’re building something that will put Cross River on the map as the luxury destination it was always meant to be. I believe in this place, in its people, and in what we can accomplish together.”
