Burial Arrangement For Lt. Daniel Obo Released By Family

The burial plans of late Lt. Daniel Obo Ayang (rtd) who passed away on Friday 9th February 2024 at the age of 79 years have been released by the family.

Comr. Daniel Obo Jr. Special Adviser on youth mobilization to Gov. Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State in a statement notifying the public about his father’s demise “was a unifier and an Elder Statesman who fought for the unity of Nigeria during the Nigerian Civil War.”

Service of Songs and vigil will be at 7pm on Friday 29th March 2024 at Obubra township stadium and his residence, Owakande Village, Obubra Urban, Obubra LGA, Cross River State.

The funeral service is on Saturday 30th March 2024 at Obubra Township Stadium, Obubra Urban, Obubra LGA Cross River State, by 10am.

Interment follows immediately at his Owakande Village, Obubra LGA Cross River State residence.

“We trust in your benevolencé to stand by us during this time of grief,” Obo Jr., the incumbent Chairman of the State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) said.
