Cross River Police Chief Drills 300 Officers On Public Relations, Election Duty, And State Security

In a bid to boost professionalism and preparedness ahead of the upcoming rerun elections, the Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah, yesterday (Tuesday, January 30, 2024) addressed over 300 police officers in a comprehensive departmental briefing.

The briefing, held at the Police Officers’ Mess Moore Road, Calabar, covered a range of crucial topics aimed at enhancing service delivery and ensuring security within the state. 

These included rudiments of the Nigerian Police Force, robust relationship with public, preparedness for rerun elections, and internal security architecture of the state. 

The briefing concluded with an interactive session where officers were encouraged to voice their concerns and suggestions. This open dialogue aimed to address challenges and improve communication within the department, fostering a more efficient and motivated police force.

By addressing these key areas, CP Grimah strives to equip his officers with the knowledge, skills, and motivation necessary to ensure effective service delivery.

As well as build trust with the public, and maintain security during the upcoming elections and beyond.
