The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu has approved the appointment of a new Head of Service Dr. Innocent Eteng, Dr. Glory Tony Effiong as Accountant-General of the State, and twelve others.
This was contained in a press release signed by Emmanuel Ogbeche, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor dated September 21, 2023, with reference number GO/PRESS/012/VOL.II/248.
Others are Mrs. Anne N. Essessien as Auditor General, Dr. Eni Oden Ofem as Auditor-General (Local Government), Rev. Victor Edet as Snr. Special Assistant, International Cooperation and Investment, Dr. Francis Odey Ntamu as Senior Special Assistant, Public-Private Partnership and Infrastructure, and Mr. Ani Esin as Special Adviser, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Also, Mr. Henry Onwe is the Project Coordinator of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), and Prof. Emmanuel Eyo is the Project Coordinator, Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management (NEWMAP).
“Similarly, Governor Otu has Okayed the appointment of the following into Cross River State Forestry Commission which includes Mr. George O’benEtchi as Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Abeng as a member, Mr. Kelvin Ojong as a member, Mr. Oyo Emmanuel as member and Mr. Isaac Obo as a member.”
He charged the appointees to be diligent and serve well with the fear of God.
