Addressing the press, Ushie acknowledged the internal struggles the party has faced in recent times, both at the state and national levels, and assured that the new leadership has successfully overcome the divisive forces that sought to destabilize the party. “The good news is that we have been able to put an end to their evil schemes to thwart any further damage,” Ushie stated, adding that the leadership under his stewardship would now focus on fostering democracy, equity, and justice for the people.
