A truck has crashed into the business premises of Offiong Ikpeme in Awi community, Cross River State, destroying the organisation’s entire business structure at the location.
According to a public notice issued by the management of Offiong Ikpeme’s Business Organisation, the incident occurred after the truck reportedly lost control and crashed into the premises.
The organisation said the crash resulted in the complete destruction of its properties at the affected location. However, it expressed relief that no lives were lost in the incident.
“All members of our organisation and staff present at the location are safe,” the management said, while urging members of the public to remain calm.
The management disclosed that the incident has been formally reported to the relevant authorities, who are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
