The visit highlights the increasing collaboration among the state government, the National Assembly, and regional development institutions in promoting inclusive growth and coordinated development efforts in Cross River State.

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu, on Thursday received the Senator representing the Southern Senatorial District, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong, and the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, in an audience at the Governor’s Office in Calabar.

The meeting, which was held earlier today, focused on strengthening collaboration between the State Government and the Commission to accelerate infrastructure development and improve socio-economic outcomes across communities in the state and the wider Niger Delta region.

The visit highlights the increasing collaboration among the state government, the National Assembly, and regional development institutions in promoting inclusive growth and coordinated development efforts in Cross River State.
