The Cross River State Government held a public presentation of its 2025 Budget today, providing stakeholders with a detailed breakdown and highlights of the fiscal document to promote transparency, accountability, and public engagement.

The event occurred at the Budget Office Conference Room in Calabar and attracted participants from civil society organizations, the media, the private sector, and development partners. It featured a comprehensive budget overview, sector-by-sector allocations, and an interactive session with attendees.

The Special Adviser on Budget to the Governor, Otu Otu-Ita, who convened the session, emphasized the administration’s commitment to openness and inclusive governance. “This platform allows citizens and stakeholders not only to understand the budget but to actively engage in shaping its implementation,” he said. He further stated, “My office is open to answer all your questions. We count on you to succeed.”
