President Bola Tinubu has approved the establishment of the Federal University of Environmental Technology, Ogoni, Rivers State.

Tinubu signed the bill into law on Monday at the State House, Abuja.

The newly established institution is expected to focus on environmental research and technology.

Tinubu’s approval marks a significant step towards expanding higher education opportunities in Nigeria.

The Federal University of Environmental Technology, Ogoni, joins other specialised universities across the country.
