Central Calabar Traditional Rulers Council Honours Etinyin Efefiom Etim Archibong

The title further cements his status as a key figure in the preservation and promotion of Efik traditions and values.

In recognition of his contributions to the community, His Highness, Etinyin Efefom Etim Archibong JP has been conferred with the distinguished title of Etinyin Ke Iboku Utan (Central Calabar). The title covers Calabar South, Calabar Municipal, Bakassi and Akpabuyo Local Government Areas of Cross River State.

The title was officially presented by the President of Central Calabar Traditional Rulers Council and the Paramount Ruler of Calabar South LGA, His Royal Majesty, Etubom Nyong Effiom Okon Etim Ewa 1.

The ceremony, held at the Palace of the President, celebrated Etinyin Archibong as a worthy son of the Efik Iboku Utan lineage, acknowledging his service and commitment to the cultural and social development of the area.

Presiding over the event, His Royal Majesty, Etubom Nyong Effiom Okon Etim Ewa 1 signed the Certificate of Honour as a testimony to Etinyin Archibong’s elevation to the revered title.

The colourful ceremony attracted notable traditional leaders, dignitaries, and members of the public, who expressed their admiration and congratulated Etinyin Archibong for this well-deserved recognition.

The title further cements his status as a key figure in the preservation and promotion of Efik traditions and values.

His Highness, Etinyin Efefom Etim Archibong JP spoke briefly and accepted the duties the honour bestowed on him.

Etinyin Efefiom who is an Elder and a member of the Order of Wesley in the Methodist Church of Nigeria thanked his family, the Royal Archibong Archibong Ekpo Effiom House for standing by him.
