The Executive Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Honourable Peter Akonfe Undiandeye, has announced the appointment of five new officials to key administrative positions, marking a strategic step to enhance governance and efficiency within the council.

In a statement signed by Honourable Undiandeye, the appointees were introduced as crucial players in advancing the council’s agenda and maintaining effective communication with constituents. All appointments are with immediate effect and include:

Ikwen Atuaka as Chief Press Secretary: Atuaka will be the Chairman’s official spokesperson, managing media relations and ensuring accurate communication of the council’s activities to the public.

Julius Ushikpeibia Akem as Chief Protocol Officer to the Chairman: Akem will oversee official ceremonies, coordinate protocol arrangements, and ensure smooth interaction between the Chairman’s office and visiting dignitaries.

Sylvanus Undiandeye as Personal Assistant (Administration): With a focus on administrative tasks, Undiandeye will play a vital role in streamlining operations and supporting internal processes.

Peter Idang Odey as Personal Assistant on Community Relations: Odey’s position involves liaising directly with local communities, addressing public concerns, and building strong community-government relations.

Ushie Kyrian Basina as Personal Assistant to the Vice Chairman: Basina will provide essential administrative support to the Vice Chairman, ensuring cohesive coordination within the executive team.
