In a public statement shared on his Facebook page, Obeten Godfrey narrated the challenging journey his mother has faced, detailing how diabetes and worsening complications such as arthritis have left her unable to perform daily activities. The condition has been steadily deteriorating, with multiple rounds of local treatment providing little relief. Now, as the family’s resources are exhausted, they find themselves in urgent need of financial assistance to sustain her mother’s medical care and prevent further decline.
“We’ve been managing her condition for some time, but her health has worsened recently,” Godfreysaid. “Her medical needs are often unexpected and time-sensitive, but despite our best efforts, her condition has not improved. We’ve exhausted all the resources at our disposal, leaving us unable to continue her treatment.”
