Born on December 25, 1957, Elder Onen was a devoted family man and a prominent member of The Apostolic Church. His funeral, which was officiated by Apostle J. O. Arikpo, Territorial Chairman of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, was a significant event in the community, drawing many attendees, including family members, friends, and church officials.
The ceremony included scriptural readings, hymns, and a touching biography of the deceased, highlighting his journey through life as a police officer, a committed Christian, and a family patriarch. Elder Onen, a native of Ugep, was known for his dedication to both his faith and his community, and his passing marks the end of an era for those who knew him.
