The new border police post is to be established in the Belekete community, located in the Obanliku Local Government Area of the State.
This strategic initiative aims to address and curb the illegal activities of foreigners, particularly Ambazonian separatists, in the border areas of the state.
In his address, Deputy Governor Dr Peter Odey conveyed a goodwill message on behalf of the Executive Governor.
He acknowledged the significant reduction in crime rates across the state, attributing this success to the collaborative efforts between the state government and the Nigeria Police Force, particularly under the leadership of CP Grimah.
