Cross River Govt Revamps School Feeding Program, Disengages Old Vendors

While details on the selection of new vendors are yet to be announced, this move signals a significant change for the program in Cross River State.

In a move aimed at reinvigorating the National Home-Grown School Feeding Programme, the Cross River State government has announced the disengagement of its former vendors, according to a press release dated 3rd of May 2024, from the Governor’s office.

Governor Bassey Otu is said to be behind the decision, which aims to improve the program. 

The press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Nsa Gill expressed appreciation to the outgoing vendors for their service and wished them well in their future endeavors.

While details on the selection of new vendors are yet to be announced, this move signals a significant change for the program in Cross River State.
