Gov Otu Charge Queen Manyi To Be A Good Ambassador Of Cross River State, Pledge Support

The Akamkpa daughter shared some of her past activities within and outside Cross River State.

The Cross River Governor, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu has encouraged Queen Manyi Affangha, Face of Culture Africa 2022/2023 to continue being a good ambassador of the State.

Sen. Otu made the call during a courtesy from the Queen and her management team Wednesday afternoon at the Government House.

The Governor represented by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odinga Odey, after listening to her presentation said “I didn’t know we have people like you who think Cross River. I am impressed”.

Furthermore, he assured her of government support. His words, “I assure you of our support on your project”.

Earlier, Queen Manyi Affangha, Face of Culture Africa 2022/2023 thanked the Governor for creating time to see her amidst his tight schedule.

The Akamkpa daughter shared some of her past activities within and outside Cross River State.

Miss Face of Culture Africa 2022/2023 informed the Governor that, “I was selected to join the Best Diplomats United States, to be held from 18th to 21st March 2024 in New York, United States”. She solicited for State support to attend the event.
