Arising from the just concluded joint National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of NLC and TUC, the nation-wide strike has been suspended.

The NEC meeting was to give consideration to the plea of Federal Government at a meeting held today at the office of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the meeting resolved that the ongoing national strike has been suspended.

The labor movement appreciates the commitments of workers towards the success of the industrial action.
